로봇 및 공작기계용 롤러기어 캠 구동방식의 정밀감속기 신뢰성 비교 평가

Robots perform various tasks in various fields on behalf of humans in the modern industry. The movement of the robot consists of a combination of various sensors, controls, and drives. In particular, precision reducers that require precise and precise movements, such as robots, are characterized by small backlash of less than 2 arcmin, high repeatability, and low rotational vibration and noise. Precision reducers are divided into harmonic drives and RV reducers worldwide. In general, the harmonic drive is used in the high end of the multi-axis joint robot where the load is relatively small, and the RV reducer is used in the low end of the large load. However, reducers using roller gear cam drive system also have the same performance as these reducers. The roller gear cam drive has been used mainly in machine tools, but recently, the application range has been expanded to robots due to the small backlash and repeatability. In this study, the performance, environmental resistance and life test of roller gear cam drives were tested. In addition, we will discuss the performance level and improvement plan of domestic roller gear cam drive through comparative evaluation with foreign products.
