Application of rifaximin in digestive tract diseases

Rifaximin has effective antibacterial activity with less absorption after oral administration.Recent years,rifaximin has been used in treatment of hepatic encephalopathy,intestinal bacterial overgrowth,inflammatory bowel disease and many other kinds of digestive tract diseases.This review describes progress of rifaximin for digestive tract diseases.
