Investigations demonstrated that enrichment of the starters and mixes with sunflower or soybean meals by enzyme MEK SH-4 results to the tendency of increasing digestibility and using of the ration nutrients, improves growth of heifers in the milk and after milk periods. The use of MEK SH-4 enzyme for calves is economically expedient. The best results were received at the supplementation of enzyme in the level 0,1% or 1 kilo per 1 ton of starter or mix.
