A preparing method of lithium iron phosphate/carbon composite materials includes steps of: evenly mixing ferric salts, iron powder, lithium sources and phosphorus sources; filling carbon sources, ball milling agents and reaction auxiliaries into the mixture and performing sufficient ball milling; roasting precursors obtained after ball milling in the inert gas environment at 600-800 DEG C to obtain lithium iron phosphate/carbon composite materials. Ferric salts serve as the iron sources, divalent iron is obtained by reducing ferric salts through elementary iron, and accordingly the preparing method improves production efficiency and material performance and is simple in process; meanwhile, raw materials are wide in sources and low in cost so that the preparing method reduces production cost and is applicable to industrial production.
