FORMACIÓN ACADÉMICA EN PREGRADO A TRAVÉS DE UN MODELO INSTITUCIONAL DE INVESTIGACIÓN ESTUDIANTIL

The global academic setting, committed to universities with substantial reorganization of research policies, empowering still relevant academic research network, away from the accepted hierarchies of knowledge production and recognizing the value of knowledge that resides in the experience people working in any field of activity. The aim is to analyze the academic from the undergraduate through the Student Research Network Program of the University of Zulia (Redieluz) as an institutional model. The research is located in the critical-reflexive paradigm, using the content analysis technique, based on the categories a) Principles that explain the model, b) regulations Groundwork national and international educational policies, and c) academic contributions through appraisal and development management sub-program of research, in Redieluz program. It is based on the theories of Priyanthi (2006), Tobon (2012) and Martinez (2009). Among the results, there was an increase in the number of participating students from 125 students in 2011 to 353 in 2012. For accredited projects, the figure reached 62 research projects in 2011 to 87 projects in 2012. In conclusion, The Student Research Network, University of Zulia, seeks to enhance knowledge networks, increasing a scientific culture in all educational levels and social strata, from this perspective, it gradually builds social reappropriation of science, in which students act in a collective approach to the multiple levels of reality, depending on the value and impact of the problem or situation.
