SIGNET RING CELL ADENOCARCINOMA OF BLADDER SECONDARY TO LONG-TERM CATHETERIZATION

Abstract A case of signet ring cell adenocarcinoma of the bladder occurring in association withlong-term suprapubic catheterization is presented, the tumor appearing to have arisen in dysplastic glands of metaplastic urothelium. The possible implications of this finding are presented.
