Andragogy Model in Sports Health Education Case Studies: Bandung Institut of Technology Community (Key Word: Andragogy -Sports Health-Education) ABSTRACT Nia Sri Ramania*) The background of research is based on the condition of implementation of health sports learning on community of college that is deemed insufficient to improve adequate outcomes for advancement of physical fitness degree of participants, whereas the condition of physical fitness degree exceedingly supports the health status which is closely related to developing the quality of human resources. The purposes of study are : 1) to describe the learning patterns of health sports on the community at college, 2) to describe the conceptual model of andragogy on the health sports learning of college community, 3) to describe the implementation of andragogy model on the health sports learning of college community, 4) to describe the effectiveness of andragogy model on the health sports learning of college community. The research used Research and Development approach and method of case studies and test experiments of The One Group Pretest - posttest design model. To analyze data the researcher applies quantitative analysis that is strengthened by qualitative analysis. Participants of research sample as many as 20 people were randomly taken from the college community of Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB). Some of the results of the research are: (1) the degree of physical fitness condition of participants improves as a result of the intervention on the andragogy model of health sports learning conducted by facilitators to community college. The model could become a medium to enhance the skill of participants to be able to do the health sports on their own and properly, (2) the understanding of the participants about the principles of sports health, sports health criteria, physical exercise or health sports activities and benefits of health sports increases thereby it can improve the motivation to do the health sports on their own and properly, (3) the andragogy model on health sports learning through field studies shows that the learning which is developed on the learning needs of participants, can be seen in the data of test results prior to application of the model (pre-test) and after application of models (post-test), (4) the andragogy model on  health sports learning of college community is developed by specific characteristics, namely the model development that is circumscribed on the college community of Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), so that the method used is a case study which cannot be generalized. In accordance to the characteristics, the research is considered to have limitations, including the subject of targets which in turn affects the methodological limitations. The conclusion of the research can be stated that andragogy model of the health sports learning is considered effective for the college community of Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) with the target of participants of health sports learning that can provide theoretical and practical implications. Therefore, the andragogy model of health sports learning in college community is recommended as an alternative learning to improve the degree of physical fitness that is closely related to the quality of health and quality of human resources.
