The present invention, by droplet deposition techniques such as inkjet printing, molecular electronic devices, and more particularly, to a method of creating an organic electronic devices such as organic light emitting diode (OLED). The present invention also relates to molecular electronic device substrate that has been created by such a method. The method of the present invention forms a substrate having a plurality of banks defining wells for the deposition of molecular material, and to form the device, using a droplet deposition technique, in a solvent in the well comprising the step of depositing the composition containing the dissolved molecular electronic material, wherein said bank has a face (bank surface) forming the end of the well, the angle relative to the bottom surface of the wells of the bank surface greater than the angle on the bank surface of said composition, wherein the height of the banks on the bottom surface of the well is 2μm or less, preferably, provides a method of making a molecular electronic device is 1.5μm or less . .FIELD 6a
