THE CHARACTERISTICS OF THE ROMANIAN RURAL AREA

The rural area  from Romania represents a cardinal component of the overall evolution of the Romanian economy. The rural area can be analyzed from the perspective of the administrative, geographical, economic, agricultural dimension. The rural area dominates the Romanian economy both as a geographical area and as a share of the population it comprises, therefore Romania enjoys an important development potential, but insufficiently exploited.
