Features of the Unsteady Separated Flow Behind Flat Plates after a Shock Wave Excitation

The experimental data concerning the flow past a flat plate after interaction with a flat or spherical shock wave (further marked as SW) are presented. The basic laws of the pressure distribution over a disc or a square flat plate with respect to time and besides, the distribution of unsteady forces and their impulses were investigated. The characteristics mentioned above were analysed, as well as,their relationship with the near wake flow pattern.
