Findings revealed that, as compared with the controls, socialphobics and height phobics scored both parents not only as lacking inemotional warmth, but also as having been rejective and overprotective.Agoraphobics reported both parents as having lacked emotional warmth, butonly their mothers as being rejecting. Interestingly, the perception of negativerearing practices of parents appeared to be stronger in height phobics than ineither social phobics or agoraphobics.
