The provision of health services is a complex activity composed of various factors that intervene in the satisfaction and well-being of the patient. The key moment in the provision is in the doctor - patient relationship, there a clinical diagnosis is issued and the treatment and / or rehabilitation required to solve the health problems or conditions for which the patient sought help is sought (Guzmdn. Franco, by Barrios. & Vega, 1994). Given the variability in the way each professional in their cultural and linguistic contexts reports the diseases and causes of death, the World Health Organization - WHO - leads the world in a strategy for standardizing the coding of morbidity and mortality events in health systems, which in its tenth version is known as: International Classification of Diseases -C1E 10-. This exercise of standardization allows an effective epidemiological communication that overcomes language differences and between countries: In tum, it improves clinical and administrative communication between the different professionals and processes involved in patient care (Ulysses S. Knotts, 1982). The latter, administrative and clinical communication and its effects on financial stability and organizational processes is commonly presented as a potentiality of standardization (Ulysses S. Knotts, 1982). However, no studies were found in Colombia that evaluated the administrative effects of an improvement in the processes of standardization and correct coding with ICD 10 among physicians. Nor about pedagogical interventions for the teaching of the ICD 10 in hospitals. With this work of degree it is expected to evaluate the effects of a technological intervention, through a game for the teaching ol the ICD 10 coding to a group of undergraduate students in medicine that allows them to consolidate their knowledge and skills with the Classification.
