Společenské prvky v Informačním systému Masarykovy univerzity

The goal of this thesis is the analysis of existing social features and applications of the Information system of Masaryk University and design of a scheme that will allow users, in attractive way, to browse the existing social applications. The practical output is implementation of the designed scheme and its deployment with the statistics of usage. The resulting scheme consists of innovation and extension of so-called right panel on the title page of the IS MU. We decreased the number of sections of the panel by removing and unifying some of the existing sections. We also introduced section Posts, that automatically selects and displays interesting content from the existing sources of the IS MU and we allowed users to customize their own panel. The designed changes were fully implemented and deployed. Finally, we performed new panel usage analysis. It showed that most of the users use the new features on regular basis and that the changes have a positive feedback.
