Metodología con enfoque intercultural para desarrollar competencias académicas para el trabajo en área rural de estudiantes de Educación Inicial, UNT.

ABSTRACT This study is framed inside the Intercultural approach, as well as, responds to a high educational necessity current in a rural area of our country, considering that universities are not close to social demand in relation to the Regular Basic Education. The goal of this research was to demonstrate that the application of the methodology with Intercultural approach develops academic competences in the work of Preschool Education students of the National University of Trujillo, 2016. The research is an applied type with a pre experimental design with only one group of pre and posttest, the sample was formed by 20 students of the Second year of Preschool Education and the sampling was intentional no probabilistic, using like settings the rooms of the Education and Communication Science Department, as well, the single teacher schools of the rural area belongs to La Libertad, like Santiago de Chuco, Huamachuco, Viru, Julcan and Otuzco. After of the methodology application with Intercultural approach structured in aspects like: information workshops, socioeducational diagnosis from the rural area, the analysis of the pedagogical practice in rural context, collaborative interlearning groups, community work with parents and the making of contextualized teaching material, we achieved that students develops academic competence meaningfully for the work in rural areas: Know how to know, Know how to do, know how to be; because before applying the methodology the 95% of students were being in level 1 (unsatisfactory) and after the application the 70% were being in level 3 (moderately satisfactory) and the 30% were in level 4 (satisfactory) showing the approval of the hypothesis of the research. All of these show us that the methodology propounded with Intercultural approach teaches each student knowledge, abilities and cultural attitudes necessary for taking part in the society fully and actively.
