The embodiment of the invention discloses a display method and electronic equipment. The method comprises the steps: projecting first contents by a first display unit; detecting an input operation aiming at the first contents by a detection unit, wherein a detection range of the detection unit corresponds to a projection range of the first display unit and a bearing face for displaying the first contents exists in the projection range; judging whether the input operation meets a first condition and obtaining a judgment result; based on the judgment result, projecting second contents, wherein the second contents comprises the first contents and prompt contents for prompting that the first condition is met.
