Calculation of the characteristics of the rotor of a turbomolecular vacuum pump

This paper constructs computational procedures for the molecular gas dynamics and computer-aided design of a turbomolecular pump to be used for the pumping of hydrogen and its isotopes in thermonuclear devices. The rotor design computations are based on the molecular-kinetic theory of gases and utilize the Monte Carlo method in a three-dimensional flow model.
