Einführung einer DV-gestützten Instandhaltung bei den Wasserwerken der Stadtwerke Düsseldorf AG

As a result of changes in the general economic conditions, extensive adjustment processes are in full swing. These also include organizational changes in the field of water supply and intensified activities to achieve a higher degree of automation. In order to meet the new demands, existing processes and sequences in the Stadtwerke Dusseldorf waterwork were analyzed and, based on existing operational experience, a software system developed to facilitate maintenance. In developing and implementing the system, particular attention was given to practice-orientation, as a result of which, the system has met a high degree of acceptance among those concerned. Appropriate interfaces have been created to allow linkage to accounting systems.
