7.2 Physical Health Status and Nocturnal Hypoglycemia with Insulin Degludec vs. Insulin Glargine: A 2-Year Trial in Insulin-Naïve Patients with Type 2 Diabetes (934-P)
2013
Insulin degludec (IDeg) is a new basal insulin with an ultra- long and stable glucose-lowering effect. We compared once-daily IDeg and insulin glargine (IGlar) (randomized 3:1) both in combination with metformin ± DPP-4 inhibitors in an open-label, treat-to-target trial in patients with type 2 diabetes (T2D).
