The application of microbore liquid chromatography/mass spectrometry to the routine analysis of a drug in plasma

We report on a validated assay of a new drug candidate using a 1 mm inner diameter (i.d.) analytical column and semi-automated sample preparation with solid phase extraction in the 96-well plate format. The method was used during a phase-l study in which the results had to be delivered on 102 days within 8 hours.
