Využití nákladní železniční dopravy v rámci city logistiky

The Bachelor thesis focuses on the use of rail freight within the city logistics. The first chapter contains a theoretical definition of the city logistics with a more detailed focus on the technologies used in the city logistics. In the second chapter, an analysis of the current state of the addressed issue in the Czech Republic's capital city Prague is carried out. A part of the third chapter is a proposal how to improve the status quo, that deals with the supply options of 38 stores of Lidl Czech Republic v.o.s. retail chain from the planned logistic center in Bustěhrad, and aims to reduce negative enviromental impacts arising from this activity.
