Evaluación y jerarquización de departamentos universitarios mediante análisis de valor

The evaluation of academic quality is often focused on measuring qualitative performance. However, in most cases these assessments are done in isolation, when it seems clear that its elements interact in each of these parts. Added to this problem, there is a high amount of indicators and models, resulting in complex values, not comparable and with unreliable and non objective results. In this context, the aim of this paper is to apply the methodology of value analysis to improve the evaluation of university departments. The proposed methodology has been validated through its application to the 40 departments existing at the Technical University of Catalonia.
