Efforts to develop an improved sonic leak pinpointer. Topical report, November 1991-June 1994

The objective to this program is to develop, field test, and commercialize an improved Sonic Leak Pinpointer capable of accurately locating gas leaks emanating from the buried pipes of medium- and high pressure natural gas distribution systems in order to improve saftey and lower costs associated with leak pinpointing and repair operations. The purpose of the work reported here is to demonstrate the improved sensitivity of the sonic Leak Pinpointer breadboard.
