Behavior is a form of response or reaction toward stimulation from outside the organism (human) but in giving a response depends on the characteristics or other factors of person, and each person has a different response. The use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is basically easy, but in the real application not all paramedics who have a large enough risk, always use them. The study aimed to determine the factors that influence the behavior of individuals towards the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) for the control of tuberculosis infection (TB) at the Central General Hospital (RSUP) Dr. Soeradji Tirtonegoro Klaten. The method used in this study was an extension questionnaire with a likert scale distributed to several paramedics. The sampling technique which was used was the oversaturated sampling method, for 42 responders. It is the technique of determining the sample with certain considerations. Data analysis used simple linear regression analysis with the SPSS version 17 program for Windows. Based on the data anaylisis there was a significant influence between individual behavior towards the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for the control of Tuberculosis (TB) infection.
