THE PHENOMENON OF CO-DEPENDENCY: THE MEDICO-PSYCHO-SOCIAL ASPECT

This article describes approaches to the definition of "co-dependence" in domestic and foreign literature. The authors analyzed the characteristics and specificity of the definition of this phenomenon from the point of view of medicine, psychology and sociology. Considerable attention is given to clarifying the characte- ristics of the analyzed forms of addiction, the causes and mechanisms of its formation. The need to share me- thods of medico-psycho-social analysis in the process of interpretation of the nature, stages and peculiarities of the manifestation of co-dependency have been identified and justified.
