Synthesis of divinyl sulfide via addition of the hydrogen sulfide anion to acetylene in an alkaline metal hydroxide/DMSO superbasic system: A quantum-chemical insight
2017
Abstract A mechanism for the synthesis of divinyl sulfide via nucleophilic addition of the hydrogen sulfide anion to acetylene in the MOH (M = Na, K)/DMSO superbasic media has been studied using a quantum chemical approach. A comparative analysis of the consecutive stages of hydrogen sulfide and hydroxide anion addition to acetylene in the same catalytic systems is presented.
