Enamel biopsy results of children receiving fluoride tablets

This study measured the fluoridation in enamel after daily use of fluoride tablets and determined if this concentration was associated with a reduction in caries. Findings reported here suggest that fluoride can restrict dental caries by some mechanism other than fluoride uptake in the enamel.
