Realidad inmigrante y sociedad del bienestar

Nowadays, Spain is simultaneously involved in tho social situations characterised by their multiculture: the construction of Europe and the economic character immigrations from the poorest countries in thc world. Nevertheless, these phenomena are dealt with in a clearly different way, in accordance with European guidcelines, so much from the part of the state as from the spanish population. An approach to the immigrant reality in Europe is offered in the text, together with the immigration policy regarding this matter and more specifically, in the spanish area. Later on, we are offered a general view of the main reasons for the social discomfort of the immigrant colective in Spain, in a journey through the basic mainstays of the Welfare State: Work, housing, health, social services and education
