Inventory of family planning training materials.

This catalog is a detailed listing of family planning training materials available in Canada Egypt France and Belgium Lebanon Morocco Tunisia Turkey and the US; which would be useful for training family planning workers in the Near East and North Africa. The catalog is divided by country and within country by type of material. 10 categories of material are included: audiovisual materials; courses (including short courses or workshops and long courses); curricula and lesson plans for inservice training: training manuals; pamphlets handouts and posters; protocols for specific action training; general reference books; journals articles and specific studies; and miscellaneous including catalogs and bibliographies. Each entry contains the source country the type of material the item number the author the title the publisher the date and number of pages the language (including languages of available translations) the price and order information the availability (for sale or not for sale) and assessment. The assessment includes a summary of the contents of the material its format and organization its intended and actual use the target groups and an outline of the strengths and weaknesses of the collection. The summaries are translated into Arabic English and French.
