The invention relates to a distance measuring device for measuring distance by utilizing imaging position difference, which is used for measuring a distance to be measured between an object to be measured and the distance measuring device. The distance measuring device provided by the invention eliminates the part corresponding to a background light and a flare light by utilizing light sensing signals generated by an image sensor in the distance measuring device to reduce the influence of the background light and the flare light. The invention also relates to a calibrating method of the distance measuring device for measuring the distance by utilizing the imaging position difference, and the distance measuring device can calculate a calibrating parameter capable of calibrating an assembling error angel of the distance measuring device according to an imaging position of a reflected light obtained by measuring a calibrated object with a known distance. Thus, the distance measuring device provided by the invention can accurately calculate the distance to be measured according to the calibrating parameter.
