Provided is an antibacterial apparatus for in-vivo implantation comprising a rod (2), which includes a second member, and a ring (3), which includes a first member fitting to at least a portion of the periphery of the rod (2), said antibacterial apparatus being characterized in that at least the surface of the first member includes an antibacterial metal, at least the surface of the second member is nobler than the first member, an electric circuit is formed between the first member and the second member when the antibacterial apparatus is used by being implanted in vivo, ions of the antibacterial metal are eluted from the first member in the presence of an electrolyte, and the surface and/or periphery of the first member is antibacterial.
