Self-Assembly of DNA Molecules on Si Substrate

DNA was attached onto Si substrate by self-assembly. The AFM images show that the structures of DNA on Si substrate depended on the concentration of DNA solution:at a low concentration of DNA,the single,stretched,cricular DNA molecules were absorbed on Si substrate; at 60~160 ng/μL DNA,the DNA network structures were formed; at a concentration of DNA higher than 200 ng/μL,DNA film could just form. These results suggest that it is possible to develop a DNA molecule device by this method.
