Electronic properties of the defect-zincblende semiconductor CdIn4Se4

Abstract The electronic properties of the defect-zincblende semiconductor α-CdIn 2 Se 4 are studied. Electronic band structure, valence-electron charge density and valence density of states are calculated with the pseudopotential method and compared with those of binary zincblende semiconductors.
