SISTEMADE VALORES DO INSTRUMENTO EQ-5D DE MENSURAÇÃO DE QUALIDADE DE VIDARELACIONADA À SAÚDE: UMA ANÁLISE PARA O ESTADO DE MINAS GERAIS

This article falls within the scope of an unpublished research in Brazil and aims to present the parameters of the average health status considering the differences in valuation by background characteristics, mainly gender and age groups. Obtaining the weights relating to public preferences is derived from international instrument EQ-5D using the Time Trade-Off (TTO) and Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) methods. The article showed that evaluations of health states, in Minas Gerais, are slightly affected by the background characteristics of each population group, therefore allowing the use of common weights for the general population.
