Ankara ilinde köpeklerde Parvoviral Enteritis ve Köpek Gençlik Hastalığının yaygınlığının araştırılması

Kopeklerde parvovirus enfeksiyonu,  son derece bulasici, genellikle akut seyirli bir gastroenteritis hastaligidir. Kopek genclik hastaligi ise cok bulasici, sistemik ve dunya genelinde yaygin olarak gorulen bir viral enfeksiyondur. Bu calisma ile Ankara’da kopeklerde gorulen parvoviral enteritis ve kopek genclik hastaliginin yayginliginin arastirilmasi hedeflenmistir. Bu amacla cesitli hayvan hastanesi/klinik/muayenehane’ye gelen hasta hayvanlardan parvovirus veya genclik hastaligi on tanisi konulmus  79  kopekten 143 ornek (kan, gaita/rectal swap, conjunctival swap, nasal swap) alindi. Soz konusu orneklere parvovirus ve genclik hastaligi laboratuvar tanisi koymak amaciyla one step PCR/RT-PCR metodu uygulandi. Yetmis dokuz kopegin 40 adedinde (% 50.63) parvovirus, 13 kopekte (% 16.45) genclik hastaligi tesbit edildi. Yirmi alti kopek (% 32.9) ise her iki hastalik yonunden negatif bulundu. Arastirmada hasta kopeklerin  gosterdigi  klinik belirtiler, yas dagilimlari, klinik tani istemleri-test sonuclari ve asi gecmisleri  gibi  veriler ile iliskileri degerlendirildi.SummaryParvovirus infection is anextremely contagious and usually acute gastroenteritis disease in dogs. Canine distempervirus infection is a highly contagious, systemic, and common viral infection in the world. The aim of the study was to researchprevalence of canine parvovirus infection and canine distemper virus infection in dogs in Ankara. For this purpose, 143 specimens (blood, stool/rectal swap, conjunctival swap, nasal swap) were taken from 79 dogsthat came to various animal hospitals/clinics. In order to laboratory diagnosis, examples were tested with one step PCR/RT-PCR method. 40 dogs (50.63%) of 79 were detected CPV infection and 13 dogs (16.45%) of 79 were detected CDV infection. Twenty-six dogs (32.9%) were detected negative in terms of both diseases. In the study, sick dog’s clinical symptoms, age range, clinical diagnosis-test results and vaccination data were correlated.
