An Improved Technique for Measuring the Electrical Conductivity of Intact Fruits

1994
Abstract A method for accurately measuring the electrical conductivity of intact fruit has been developed. Moreover, a study of the behavior of conductivity with frequency and temperature has been achieved in avocado (Persea americana, Mill) and pear (Pyrus communis, L.) fruits, the results of which confirm the electrolytic nature of electrical conduction in mesocarp fruit.
