Lo grotesco en el surrealismo II: Análisis práctico

Ello podria deberse en gran medida a la ruptura que propusieron las nuevas vanguardias con respecto al arte academico, ya que lo grotesco, por su caracter transgresor, servia como medio para manifestar las aspiraciones de muchos artistas, y en algunos casos, tambien de movimientos concretos, como lo fue el surrealismo. Este celebraba los aspectos mas subversivos y ocultos del individuo, por lo que muchos de los pertenecientes al grupo se sirvieron de esta categoria como medio para expresarlos. EnglishThe esthetic category of the grotesque experimented a great revaluation in the XX century, what makes it difficult to include all it’s manifestations in that period of time. This fact could be due to the rupture that was propposed by the new avant-garde with the academic art, so the grotesque, due to its transgressor character, was used as a way to manifestate the aspirations of many artists, and in some cases, the aspirations of some atistic movements too, such as Surrealism. It used to exalt the most subversive and hidden aspects of the person, that is why many of the artists who belonged to the group, used this category to express it.
