Overview of Airborne Laser's Test Program

The Airborne Laser (ABL) is a high-energy laser weapon system being developed by the Missile Defense Agency for boost-phase missile defense. To support the development of this transformational capability, the ABL program has established a staged test approach mapped to critical knowledge points. This paper will provide an overview of ABL’s test program and discuss its mapping to the key metrics for a high-energy laser weapon system.
