A literature review on the field of rock physics, rock mechanics, wave propagation and other related subjects is presented. The 206 references, wtth abstracts, are included under the following categories: physical properties, rock deformation, loading, engineering applications, seismology, wave propagation, and instruments and methods. In each section the articles are arranged alphabetically according to author.
