Microcirculation dynamics in marginal gingiva by its contouring after second stage of dental implantation

: Microcirculation dynamics in marginal gingiva by its contouring after second stage of dental implantation was examined by means of laser Doppler flowmetry. After installation of the 5.5 mm flared healing abutments there was a significant reduction in tissue blood flow indicating severe ischemia in marginal gingiva. Efficient prosthodontic treatment caused beneficial impact on microcirculation.
