AES-Untersuchungen an erodierten Eisen-Chrom-PVD-Schichten

Comparative AES-investigations of FeCr-PVD alloys after an erosion simulation test are presented. In order to give a better characterization of the erosive, corrosive component of the wear process sample series were simultaneously tested with the single-based and double-based M1 and M30 propellant, rerspectively. The results of the AES-element-profiles are related to metallographic investigations and the erosive loss of material. In this way some conclusions about the dependence of the alloy composition and the gas load on the erosion mechanism can be drawn.
