Teorías de Nuevo Regionalismo UNASUR

2013
International Relations as well as related social studies necessarily requires establishing a differentiation among variable levels of analysis in order to create different fields of observation in the international system. Social Constructivism discusses the importance of identities who through collective participation act in this system, built through norms and finally institutions. The scope of Social Constructivism seeks to be an enhancement to the process of investigation based on social structure that regulates interaction at the international level, whose relationship is guided by epistemological arguments obtained by a previous level of observation. The theory of New Regionalism is a response to a process of identity construction in the regions, which is why UNASUR could by that specific answer, referred to as the return of political integration of South America in all its aspects. UNASUR analysis necessarily must be taken into account as a process of identity construction, which establishes the parameters of a united and homogenous system that protects the pluralist vision of the member states of the Union of South American Nations.
