Análisis de la competencia territorial y extraterritorial en México

The legal framework for extraterritorial jurisdiction is in the first five articles of the Federal Penal Code. However, this dispositions have not changed since its original formulation in 1931.This article proposes considerations for its actualization. First, dogmatic considerations must be abandoned to favor simpler schemes. Secondly, norms texts must be amended taking into consideration new international tendencies. Finally, remissions to international treaties must be included to homologate national law with international standards.
