Reproductive tract infections: an annotated bibliography.

This article presents an annotated bibliography on the sources of additional information on reproductive tract infections (RTIs). A list of printed materials related to the general overview of RTIs the definitions of gynecological morbidity the common sites of infection presence of endogenous infections and iatrogenic infections are given. Furthermore a collection of a variety of materials is included: on the correlation between human papilloma virus and cervical cancer; on the transmission of RTIs in adolescents pregnant women and children; on the social impact of RTIs their relationship with sexually transmitted infections (STIs) including HIV/AIDS and their effects on contraception and family planning. Furthermore this article contains several useful web sites providing links to the sites related to STIs and other informative literature regarding the subject.
