Provided is a well address acquiring system and the like which enable an operator to understand easily an address of a well to be used for dispensing. This well address acquiring system comprises: a mapping processing unit which modifies a master image representing an image of a microplate well array plane to match a reference image generated by causing an image capturing device to capture an image of the array plane, and associates each well region in the master image with position information of pixels in a pixel region corresponding to a light receiving surface of an image capturing element; a distal end detecting unit which detects a distal end position of an image of a tip in a target image, from said target image generated by causing the image capturing device to capture an image of the array plane in a state in which a dispensing pipette is being used for dispensing into the microplate; and an address acquiring unit which acquires the address of a well in which a distal end portion of the tip is positioned, from among the plurality of wells, on the basis of the distal end position in the target image and the position information of the pixels associated with each well region.
