Nowadays, there are many biometrical methods for identification and verification, such as face, iris, finger print, retina, hand geometry, and etc., but the new and innovative solutions still needed and continue to be proposed. One of the most interesting emerging methods of moment is human lips biometric. In this research we combined two methods for verifying human lips biometric. This combination is aimed to increase the accuracy. The human lips biometric verification begins with a pre-process to convert lips image into binary image lips. The extraction of moment and cover feature is conducted to get the form feature of the particular lips. The lips form feature will be saved into the database whilst enrollment and it will be used in the verification. The verification process is conducted by comparing the lips form feature obtained with the saved feature in the database using metrics or dynamic time warping (DTW) distance. The decision is taken based on the threshold value of system test. The outcome of this research is a summary that the human lips biometric verification is feasible to be established by using the proposed 2 methods combination, and it performed 5,71% error equal rate (EER) and 91,25 accuracy rate in the 0,5 treshold.
