Social Change and Personality:Personality Research from the Perspective of Social Change

The research on personality with social change,especially the research on individual modernity(psychological modernity) has been described as the personality dealing with traditional society or modern society respectively,which means the personality is an outcome of social change,not a component of construction for the social change.Coping-with-social-change personality,a new concept referred to in this article,stands for the traits for dealing with the quickly-changing situation,which enriched personality research in a perspective of social change.
