Effect of factors affecting growth performance of sangamneri strain of deccani sheep

In Sangamneri strain of Deccani sheep, the overall least squares means for body weights at birth 3, 6, 9 and 12 months of age were 2.87±0.01, 13.86±0.10, 8.02±0.12, 21.17±0.15 and 23.94±0.18 kg, respectively. The effect of year, season and sex were significant (P<0.01) on body weights at all the ages.
