Electric vehicle with a secondary charging cable release mechanism

2012
It is (unlock and unlock) a secondary (safety) solver for a charging cable plug-in electric vehicles or hybrid electric vehicles provided. A charging terminal is formed to take a charging cable and has a locking bolt which is adapted to lock the charger in the charging connection during the charging. The vehicle also has a hood assembly comprising a hood latch, with a first cable which is coupled to the hood latch. A second cable coupled to the locking bolt and a cladding of the first cable for unlocking the locking bolt. A retainer is coupled to the hood assembly and configured to limit the movement of the second cable to the first cable has solved the hood assembly.
