Application of ZigBee & GPRS Technology in Photovoltaic Power Plants Monitoring System

In this paper,a wireless PV plant monitoring system solution is proposed based on an analysis on advantages and features of ZigBee and GPRS.The paper presents the detailed design of the network architecture of the system and the data acquisition,transmission and Internet service building of the photovoltaic power plant monitoring systems.By this design,the monitoring center can perform the real-time data acquisition and operational status monitoring of the equipment of the photovoltaic power plant through the wireless network remote monitoring,and users,by using a PC or smart terminal,can master the operation of photovoltaic power generation and power equipment via ethern to achieve the effect of internet of things.
