Open Plank End Trusses in the Oxford Region

Abstract The note draws attention to trusses with plank-like timbers in buildings using mainly square-sectioned timbers. It lists five examples, and several comparable buildings without plank trusses, in order to show where and when plank trusses were and were not used.
